Patreon allows me to offer you, for a small monthly subscription (which you are not locked in to - you can cancel at any time), access my entire back catalogue of course material.

Think this is expensive? Check out my Price Comparison page.

What do you get if you become a patron (subscriber) of Latinum?
Every patron (subscriber) can  access and stream hundreds of hours of quality Latin audiobooks and other audio resources from the streaming catalogue, for a very low monthly subscription.

Higher reward tier patrons are offered an incredible deal - the ability to download a large catalogue of audiobooks as zip files.

Benjamin D'Ooge published an edition of Francois Lhomond's Urbis Romae Viris Inlustres. This DVD contains the mp3 files of all the selections contained in the D'Ooge edition. Charles François Lhomond (1727 – December 31, 1794) attended classes at the Collège d'Inville in Paris, where he subsequently became dean of the school. Later he spent twenty years as an educator at the Collège du Cardinal-Lemoine and afterwards was professor emeritus at the University of Paris. Lhomond's textbook, De viris illustribus urbis Romae a Romulo ad Augustum was used for generations. The textbook is based on Livy, but the Latin is slightly simplified.

  1. This DVD and all the others offered here - which even all being purchased comes to less than a single Latin course from other providers - is an excellent supplement (or alternative) to reading-only Latin learning approaches. I've taken several years of Latin in college, but felt that my fluency had plateaued. I was looking for something that would bring in other learning modes (listening and speaking) instead of the traditional reading-only method. Latinum with its podcast the the DVDs was exactly what I was looking for and it has helped me move forward. Plus, it is something I can do while I'm driving or taking a walk. I really appreciate all the hard work it must have taken to put this together.
